Christine Schachtner, RMT

Born in Vancouver, Christine Schachtner grew up in the Lower Mainland and has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2001. The majority of her career has been building her practice at PMIH. Since graduating from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, Christine has taken a number of post-graduate courses. Christine’s toolbox of massage therapy modalities includes deep tissue, neuromuscular treatment, joint manipulation, Somatic Education, Lymph Drainage Therapy, and Cranial Sacral Therapy. She has found that using a wide variety of modalities, from energy to somatic work, is very valuable when treating the diverse conditions of individuals who come to the clinic.  Fitness is a priority to Christine, she leads group fitness classes at the Port Moody Rec Center and participates in and instructs Hatha yoga. Immersed in Aquatics throughout her childhood, Christine competed at the national level in waterpolo with the SFU women’s team and is happy to share her athletics and fitness knowledge with patients.  As a mother of two young boys Christine takes advantage of being a Port Moody resident, enjoying the recreational facilities and areas in the Tricities with her family. With all that she already participates in, she also dreams of continuing her wanderlust journey of traveling, whenever time and resources allow.  For more information or to book an appointment with Christine, please call 604-499-4114 or please email Christinermt@integratedhealth.ca
